This video installation is based on a collective urban image project by people from Seoul and Tehran and New York City that
began as a Flickr group.urban particle supercollider linked participants from three cities: Seoul, Tehran, and NYC through their photographs of various street objects from the respective neighborhoods -torn newspaper fragments to hotdog stand- resulting in a catalogue of images repleat with personal and cultural significance.
In this installation, the selected items were digitally rebuilt as 3D objects using the photo as their own skin or texture.
